Xander took up his usual spot by the fire once he'd inspected the area.
Time to start digging, Jamie leveled a nice spot with a great view ready for a Shipping container.
He's the quickest bobcat operator i've ever met.
And then onto the Dam. I didn't want a big one so Jamie made quick work of it.
After a hard day watching Jamie do the hard work, it was time to sit down and relax.
A beautiful evening by the fire.
The stars are amazing out here..
A misty morning the next morning and found lots of these beautiful spider webs. no sign of the spiders that made them, but with the dew drops on them they looked amazing.
I saved the skull for the camp site.
This time I brought Eddie the Eagle down with Hilda the Hilux... (do you see a trend with the names) Eddie takes about 20 mins to setup but alot more room than Matilda and having Hilda meant I could drop into town without taking my home with me..
My firepit is well and truely established now complete with cooking platform and kettle.
LOL. we had an old letter box so I mounted it at the front gate. the post man doesnt deliver out here, but at least it gives me something to tell visitors to look for.
We had a bit of a bog just past the gate so had to get some gravel delivered as well..
Time for a Drink now... another great day relaxing..
Spent the afternoon at Rogers today (the Neighbour down the road, 84 years young and still running 2500 sheep on 4000 acres by himself..
He took me out to a spot on his property where there is a pocket of land in the middle of his that he doesnt own. The guy that owned it built this cabin out of the trees on the property about 20 years ago.
After 5 days it was hard to head back to Mount Annan...
